Cultural Committee:
The inherent talents of the students are brought out through the activities of the Cultural association.

Magazine committee: The college brings out the Annual magazine "KRUTHI" which is released on "Deepadharanothsava Day" in which students exhibit their writing skills through articles, poems, short stories etc, in English, Kannada and Hindi. The best articles are also given awards at the time of release of the magazine.

Half Yearly News Letter, "WAVES" is brought out to update the events during each semester.

Placement cell
Placement cell is proactive and various workshops and training programs. The cell conducts
Aptitude Tests, Group Discussions, Personal Interviews and Personality Development programs to give exposure to the students on the various requirements of industry.

Women empowerment and legal rights cell
The cell organizes lectures, workshops, seminars to create awareness among students on women, entrepreneurship and gender related issues. The cell also organizes interactive sessions and workshops on the legal rights of women in the Indian context.

Aim of NSS: "Development of the personality of students through community service"

The motto or watch word of National Service Scheme is 'NOT ME BUT YOU'. This expresses the essence of democratic living and upholds the need of selfless service, appreciation and consideration for fellow human beings.

The student youth are motivated to work for the upliftment of the socially and economically disadvantaged sections. NSS helps develop a sense of service, team spirit, dignity of labor and a change in outlook and attitude towards life and society.

NSS volunteers of our college actively participate in programs, rallies and processions organized by the Bangalore University and NGOs. NSS Camp is regularly organized every year under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Usha Devi thus sensitizing the students on social responsibility and the need for community service.

Youth Red Cross Unit members are the builders of the Nation who take part in bringing the very MOTTO of Red Cross, that is, "SERVICE TO SOCIETY"

MLA.F.G.C Promotes Humanitarian Principles and Values
We, through our active YRC unit, inculcate in our students, humanitarian service based on the fundamental principles of the Red Cross Society, which include:
  1. Protection of Life
  2. Health and human Dignity
  3. Respect for others
  4. Acceptance of responsibility to help others without discriminations based on nationality, Gender, belief, class or political opinions

The Bharath scouts and guides wing was inaugurated formally in the month of April 2016.

Our students work in collaboration with a number of organizations such as: Namma Mane for HIV/Aids patients, Dharithri a special institute for disabled children, Seva Sadan, PFA( People for Animal Protection), Seva Bharathi charitable trust and Sankey Tank Associates.

It is our constant endeavor to encourage and motivate students to participate in various sports activities. Sports develop team spirit, responsibility, leadership quality and ability to handle success and failure. Physical education aims at the overall development of the individual by helping them to be physically fit, mentally sound, emotionally balanced and socially responsible citizens.

Preference is given to students who have represented the State, University and the Nation in sports for admission. Incentives in cash and kind are provided to top performers and those who have represented the State, University and country. Students are trained in Indoor and outdoor sports activities to enable them to participate in various levels of competitions. The students have represented the Bangalore University and Karnataka State in various sports like Athletics, Netball, Hand ball, Hockey, Foot ball and Cricket.

College Fests and Events:
The College provides an opportunity for the students to exhibit their talents in dance, drama and music, through cultural fests every year. The cultural fests include both inter-class and intercollegiate competitions
'UTSAV', an inter class competition is conducted in dance, drama and music every year. Students participate enthusiastically in large numbers.

"SOWRABHA" is the Inter- Collegiate Sports, Cultural, Literary and Commerce fest. Students from various colleges participate in dance, music, literary and management competitions
